Farewell to " Affiliate Silver Bullets"

I promised to tell you what is going on with the "Affiliate Silver Bullets System" (ASBS). So here it is:

Only 3 month after its launching, the ASBS transformed into "Affiliate Silver Bullet System Version 2." This was a small change in name, but a drastic change (to the worse) in membership functionality:

There are no more 10 "Silver Bullets" as was promised for each and every month that would consist of:

10 Professionally Designed Video Squeeze Pages;

10 Pre-Selling Mini-Sites;

10 Powerful 5-Part Training Series;

250 Keyword-rich SEO Articles;

10 double opt-in lists;

fat checks from Clickbank.

The ASBS Version 2 model is simple genius:

1) Each and every month there appears the same Video Squeeze Page intended to opt-in subscribers for "Internet Marketing Genius" newsletters!

2) The user has to promote these newsletters and only the newsletters. And the user has to build the so called "his" single opt-in list. But even if the user does nothing at all, ASBS promises to "market for him," that is, to add subscribers to "his" list (please don't ask when and how many!). Obviously, this list is at the disposal of the membership's owner and at no one else's!

3) Moreover, the membership owner, the one and only, will sell to this list a "variety of products" (again, don't ask what, when or how!).

4) And the owner and no one else will share the commissions that these sales generate with the membership users (when and how much is a mystery!).

An additional "blossom" is that in the gratitude for a more effectively bringing leads to the membership owner's list (or, alternatively, for a more effectively doing nothing at all) the user will "be provided with the best marketing tools to help you drive traffic to the squeeze pages. We'll also teach you how to get free traffic". How nice of the owner!

What the user unconditionally gets is to pay $37 monthly. This is not too expensive for such a lovely trap.

"Affiliate Silver Bullets" - Review

On February 10, 2008, I signed up for the "Affiliate Silver Bullets" (ASB) service and received a set of 10 ASB. Here are my first impressions:

1)The "Video Squeeze Pages" are professionally designed and very nice.

2)The 250 articles (25 per product) are given as HTML pages so:
a)If you want to submit an article to an article directory you have to extract it from HTML;
b)And if you want to build a site or a mini-site from the product articles, you will at least have to build the index page.

3)There is a problem of traffic. The ASB needs traffic and does not supply it.

4)If you don't have aWeber account, then you build the opt-in list for AffiliateSilverBullets.com. And Not for yourself!

5)0.23; 0.96; 1.96; 2.27; 12.2; 22.76; 31.12; 38.33; 40.47. These "magic" numbers are gravities of the ASB products and they don't look like gravities of "hot selling" products. Even the product that has the gravity of 40.47, has a rank of only 11 in its category.

That is what I think.

By the way, I could easily find the ASB products on the ClickBank marketplace using the program I am now writing. The user of this program can find a product according to a piece of text in the product title and/or description, according to category, merchant ID, etc. . . . Using the program, you can find a product and see how popular and converting it is. The filtering possibilities are much more flexible and powerful than the searching possibilities of Clickbank marketplace and of the majority of analogous programs.

It works exactly like the "Find Profitable Affiliate Products To Promote" project of Affiliate Elite for ClickBank marketplace. But it has a more user friendly interface. And the user knows exactly to what extent the product database is up-to-date, since the program itself makes the database upgrade. So there is no dependence on additional service and therefore the database always will be up-to-date without any doubts and without monthly payments!

Does it really Silver Bullet?

I stumbled upon the Dustin Struckman service Affiliate Silver Bullets that, according to the author, is a "true push-button marketing system".

Each of these Silver Bullets is designed to:

* Automatically convert them into customers
* Automatically pay you a commission when they buy Each month,

Dustin picks 10 of affiliate products and creates these Silver Bullets for them. What is a Silver Bullet? It is a set of tools for each of the 10 products.
Each Silver Bullet includes:
* Professional Video Squeeze Page - to capture your visitors' name and email
* High-quality Squeeze Video - to grab your visitors' attention and get them to opt into your list
* Content Mini-site - to pre-sell your affiliate product and earn you commissions
* 5-part Email Series - to follow up with your prospects and convert more sales for you on the back-end.

And all the user of this service has to do is:
1. Sign up for a free affiliate account
2. Enter his affiliate info into the Affiliate Silver Bullet account
3. Upload customized Silver Bullets to the user's website.

The price for this promising offer is relatively low. So I could not refuse clicking the sign up link:
